  • What is a turn around time?
    • Once the artwork is approved, normal turn around time is 7-10 business days, except for large order.
  • What is setup/screen charge?
    • There is a charge for pre-production preparation from film output to the preparation of the screens.
  • Why am I charged for an extra screen when print on color shirt?
    • When print goes on a colored shirt, the print colors will blend in with the base garment color. It's like painting a new color to your existing color. We need to paint a primer to cover the old paint first then, apply another screen called "base white" to cover the shirt color. The "base white" screen will be the additional screen for us. Most other shops charge an extra 10% to 25% "flash" charge, but we don't.
  • What happen if I need my order rush?
    • Rush service is available for an additional cost. The cost varies on the type of project. Please consult with one of our representatives.
  • How do you determine screen charges?
    • Each screen represents one color on most occasions*. Add one extra screen if your request requires us to print on a colored shirt.
Send us your artwork and we'll review and provide you a full breakdown of costs. (*Half-tone and special effect screens. Extra screen charge might apply)
  • What if I need a color change?
    • One color change (one screen) will be free of charge. Each additional color will be charged $15.
  • What is embroidery digitizing?
    • Digitizing, also called "Punching", is the method to convert artwork into a recognizable machine format so that the embroidery needle will precisely coordinate the sewing.

    • We are accepting all major graphic formats supported by Adobe such as Photoshop, Illustrator, TIF, BMP, EPS, DCS, PDF or etc. For high quality result, we recommend your artwork to be at least in 200 dpi in resolution and the size of the artwork should not be less than 35% of the actual print size. • Why JPEG, GIF, PNG and Microsoft formats is not preferred?
    • JPEG, GIF and PNG formats are web formats that compress the files in portable size. Due to the compression, the quality is degraded so much that most of the detail are gone. Microsoft Word, Excel and Point point formats are not preferred since they are inconsistent with font and position.
  • Do you provide art service?
    • Yes, we can provide light art and design service.
  • What is color separation?
    • Divide an artwork into 4 separate components to the four primary colors (CMYK) into screens or plates.
  • What is halftone?
    • Halftone is the reprographic technique that simulates continuous tone imagery through the use of dots, varying either in size or in spacing. 'Halftone' can also be used to refer specifically to the image that is produced by this process.
  • Can you do 4 color process?
    • Yes, we can. The 4 color process may sometimes involve more screens. It is a complicated process and require more time and effort to make it right. Please consult with our design team for more details.
  • Why my art print in 4 color process on paper and it needs more colors/screens for screen print?
    • Sometimes when artwork has a large flat color area, it is better to add an extra color/screen. Flat colors always give a crisp edge, whereas blended colors create a fuzzy edge.
  • I have a photo and some texts in my design in 1 color. Why do you need 2 screens for the job?
    • When print goes on a colored shirt, the print colors will blend in with the base garment color. It's like painting a new color to your existing color.
